New Coil Pot

I love bright colors like turquoise and red but they really don’ t fit into the palette of the natural world at this latitude.  But they are finding their way into coil pots.  This one has been juried into Rare Threads at the Jordan River Art Center.    Its a fairly large pot — 8″ high and 11 1/2″ in diameter.  I played around with some openings and added fabric beads.  Also made a coordinating mat.

  1. Hi Kathie,
I adore your coiled pot, and its coordinating mat. Turquoise is one of my favorite colors, and your use of it in this set is great! Your artwork is lovely. Congrats on all your recent successes. I wish you many more!
