Thrilled to have my pieces chosen for the Jordan River Art Center’s website. The show opened yesterday and it is very interesting. Most artists wrote about their process and/or inspiration, something we are used to seeing at quilt/fiber shows but less often in all media fine arts.

Bravo! And I’d love to read a non-textile artist’s statement, just for a change.
You would have enjoyed reading them. One water colorist wrote extensively about the varied techniques she used to get texture in her lovely paintings. Another artist wrote about how he painted a realistic stand of trees and then cut it up and rearranged the pieces in a Mandela.
